U9 Champions! (again)

Tayden just completed his last session of indoor soccer and their team went undefeated three sessions in a row! He was really excited because they each won a new soccer ball. If you can't tell, we eat, breathe, and sleep SOCCER!

The Easter Bunny made it!

We had a wonderful Easter with the kids. They woke up at 5:00 am to see if the Easter bunny had come, but we sent them back to bed until 6:00 am. The Easter bunny made quite a mess, with candy scattered everywhere, but at least he made it. Tayden got a new game, a kite and some books, Ambree got the movie "Enchanted", a kite, and some "Fancy Nancy" books, and Ashton got a new "Bumblebee" transformer, a "Mac" from the show cars, and some dinosaur books.

The hunt is on!

We had a fun time today painting easter eggs and going on an easter egg hunt at aunt Linda's. They all made a haul, and rumor has it, the easter bunny is coming tonight. Ambree made him a picture and the kids bought some carrots for him. They're sure fun at this age.

3 v 3 Champs!

Tayden had a soccer tournament on Saturday (in the snow), they had to shovel the fields and if you look close in the picture, it is snowing! It made for a long, cold day outside. Tayden played 5 games and his U9 team ended up winning the U10 bracket (all the 10 year olds!)

Over the river and through the woods to grandmothers cabin we go!

We had quite an adventure going to Grandma and Grandpa's cabin! Riding in the Argo is like riding the "Wild Mouse" but it was a lot of fun! We got stuck in a snowstorm coming home that was kind of scary (like when Grandpa accidentally drove us on the lake because he was disoriented) but we made it home safe & sound, and had fun too!

Late Night

Ambree had a "late night" a while back and had lots of fun. Her and her friend Gretchen made cotton candy, painted toe nails, and played with their bears. Too cute!

Tayden's Report

Tayden did a report today in his class where they had to dress up like someone and report on how they changed the world. Tayden picked Neil Armstrong. He did a really good job. I had actually bought him this space suit for Halloween but he didn't like it and so we ended up putting it in the dress-up bin. Boy, did it come in handy! He then handed out "Moon Pies" to the class. They thought that was pretty cool. I was so proud of him!
