Tayden's broken ankle

On Saturday, December 4th Tayden broke his ankle while playing indoor soccer. He was defending the goal and a kid from the other team tried to take a shot and Tayden stuck his foot out to stop it and it bent his leg and broke bones on both sides. We were very happy that it did not require surgery and he is already walking around on just the cast, not crutches anymore!

Gingerbread Houses

For family night we made gingerbread houses out of gingerbread graham crackers. The kids came up with some pretty cute houses!

Choir

Ambree is in the school choir this year and performed at the Eccles Center in Ogden. There were a ton of people there so it was hard to get a good picture.

Disney on Ice

While all the boys went hunting, all the girls went to Disney on Ice. We had a great time!

Silver Medal

The boys were SO CLOSE to being the state champions this year winning two close games in penalty kick shoot-outs. The last game looked as if we were headed in that direction again when the other team scored a last minute goal inching them ahead. It was heart breaking! 2nd place in the state in their age division is not anything to hang heads over however!

I-Fly

Ambree was able to try the I-fly on Saturday with her friends Hallee and Tenille (it was Hallee's birthday.) She was a little nervous but caught on quickly and LOVED it! It is so nice to have friends with connections!

Ashton's 6th Birthday

Ashton turned six on September 9th. He was so excited and said he grew in the night into a six year old. He is such a fun addition to our family! He is very chivalrous, and always says "ladies first" for me. He is very loving and loves to say "I loved you first!" We feel very blessed to have him in our family! For his birthday he got a new Nintendo DS, some games, and a new transformer. He also got some cars and a fishing pole from his Grandma's and Grandpa's.

Ashton's 6th Birthday party

For Ashton's birthday he wanted an Iron Man party. He invited some friends over for pizza, pop, and cupcakes and played all sorts of fun things. They hit a pinata, knocked over stacked cups, pinned the "heart" on Iron Man, and dressed up like Iron Man. The kids had a great time. Ashton is very lucky to have so many friends in the neighborhood.

Tayden's 12th Birthday

Tayden turned 12 on September 8th! He was so excited. He went in half on an Ipod touch using his lawn mowing money and Ambree and Ashton got him a cover for it and an Itunes card. He is excited to go to Young Mens and move on to his next stage in life. He had a soccer game on his birthday and was chosen to do a penalty kick which he scored on. He said it was his best birthday ever!

Family Night

For family night we made temples out of sugar cubes. The kids said it was the best family night ever. The kids did a great job!

Ashton's 1st day of Kindergarten

Ashton started Kindergarten today even though I told him he could stay home with me as long as he'd like! He was SUPER excited, and not nervous at all. He loves riding the bus, and his new teacher, but said that he sits by an annoying girl. (I thought that was funny.) Whether I like it or not, my baby boy is growing up.

John Mayer Concert

I went to the John Mayer concert last night and it was AMAZING! I love him! We had awesome seats- 9th row- and even made it onto the Jumbo-tron!

Ashton rock climbing

After Tayden did the I-fly, we took Ashton to I-Rock and let him rock climb. He was a little nervous, but did great! I think he would have had a little more fun if Tayden and Ambree were there with him. He is a little monkey and loves to climb anything he can!

I-Fly

Tayden had the opportunity to do I-fly and it was so much fun! His friend Korben invited some friends for his birthday. He said it was one of the most fun things he has ever done, and can't wait to do it again! He got a DVD of the whole thing. It really was pretty amazing!
