Ambree takes silver!

Ambree is following after her big brother's footsteps and competed in a soccer tournament this weekend. Her team had only been together for two weeks, but did very well in the tournament. They only lost to one team and took the silver! We are so proud of her.

Gold!

Tayden competed in yet another soccer tournament this weekend and took gold! There little team even played up a year, on a bigger field and shut-out all the teams but one. It was a lot of fun.

Ashton's swim lessons

This was Ashton's first year of swim lessons. Last year he was afraid, but this year he had NO fear whatsoever! What a cute little boy!

Ambree's swim lessons

Ambree just finished up her swim lessons and thoroughly enjoyed it! She is a little fish and loves to swim. I am glad that my kids are learning how to swim because I can't!

Our rainy day at Lagoon

On Saturday we took the kids to Lagoon and it was a wet, rainy day! Ambree had the opportunity to go to Bear Lake with a friend so she opted out of going, so Tayden took a friend since we had already bought the tickets. There were absolutely no crowds, which was nice, but it kind of hurt to get pelted in the face with rain as you're going fast on a roller coaster! (I think I was the only one that complained though.) Ashton had fun running around with his cute cousin Chloe too!

Golf Clinic

Tayden and Ambree attended a golf clinic this week at Toad's and had a great time. At the end of the lesson they got to miniature golf for free (even Ashton) and then they gave them each a $5 gift card. I thought they did a great job!

Ashton can ride a two-wheeler!

Much to our amazement, Ashton came in the house and told his dad he wanted to take his training wheels off his bike since the neighbors were out practicing with their 6 year old. Scott took off the training wheels, and within about 30 seconds- he was off! He didn't need any help. Pretty crazy!

Feeding the ducks- and those pesky seagulls

We had some hamburger buns left over so we went to feed the ducks in North Ogden, but the seagulls were way more aggressive and ended up getting the food most of the time. It was fun though!

Summer Games

This week we went to Cedar City for the Utah Summer Games. They won every game but one but got revenge in the final game where they shut out the team they lost to 7-0. It was amazing! What a great group of boys. They came home with gold for the second year!

Ambree's big day

Ambree was baptized and confirmed yesterday and everything went beautifully. Tayden gave a talk on baptism and Ashton attempted to say the opening prayer, but nobody could hear him so I had to jump in. Ambree was baptized with her cute little friend Brinley and together they sang a song for the program. Scott gave her a beautiful blessing, and even the weather cooperated for the luncheon after.

Dance Recital

Yesterday Ambree had a very busy day. She had her baptism and her dance recital. Somebody pulled the fire alarm so we all had to leave in the middle of it and wait for the building to be cleared by the fire department, but she did a great job!
