Tayden's 12th Birthday Party

We celebrated Tayden's birthday a little bit early to try to separate the boys birthdays (Ashton's b-day is the next day.) This year Tayden and his friends came here for pizza then went to Toad's and played mini-golf and laser tag. They had a great time, but I think they would have been equally happy just to stay here and play soccer in the backyard! Tayden has been very blessed to have such good friends!

There are mixed emotions about Tayden turning 12. He is very excited to graduate from Primary, but it also very sad to see him grow up so quickly. We are excited he will receive the priesthood and be able to pass the sacrament and go into Young Mens. We love you bud!

1st Day of School

Tayden and Ambree started school on Wednesday, August 25th. Tayden is the the 6th Grade and Ambree is the 4th Grade. They both like their teachers and were excited for school to start. Ashton starts Kindergarten this year, but doesn't start until the 1st of September.

Ambree's new piano

Ambree started piano lessons this summer after begging us to let her (how many kids do that?) We said that we would let her try it out this summer and see how she liked it and that if she still liked it when school started we would get her a piano. She LOVES it and is progressing well. It is so fun to hear piano in the house!

Tayden's stitches

Monday, August 9th Tayden was being pulled by a four wheeler on a sled when he was thrown off into a barb wire fence. Tayden's arm was ripped open and required 7 stitches. This is the day when he got them out.

Ambree's 9th Birthday

It's so hard to believe that Ambree turned 9 this year! She is such a blessing to our family. She is the peacemaker in the family and has just the cutest personality. For her birthday she asked for a camera and then she had a family birthday party and her friend Gretchen took her to chinese for her birthday. Her Aunt Linda also took her to get her nails done. She had a lot of fun and is growing up right before our eyes!

Ashton's Preschool Graduation

Ashton graduated from preschool and is so excited to be going to Kindergarten (mom is a little bit sad that her "baby" will be leaving.) He did a really good job on his program and even had a speaking part. What a cutie!

Easter

For Easter this year the Easter bunny hid the kids easter baskets so they had to go on a hunt around the house gathering things for their baskets. The kids said it was the best Easter ever. Hopefully the Easter Bunny will have another great idea next year!
