Tayden's stitches

Monday, August 9th Tayden was being pulled by a four wheeler on a sled when he was thrown off into a barb wire fence. Tayden's arm was ripped open and required 7 stitches. This is the day when he got them out.

Ambree's 9th Birthday

It's so hard to believe that Ambree turned 9 this year! She is such a blessing to our family. She is the peacemaker in the family and has just the cutest personality. For her birthday she asked for a camera and then she had a family birthday party and her friend Gretchen took her to chinese for her birthday. Her Aunt Linda also took her to get her nails done. She had a lot of fun and is growing up right before our eyes!

Ashton's Preschool Graduation

Ashton graduated from preschool and is so excited to be going to Kindergarten (mom is a little bit sad that her "baby" will be leaving.) He did a really good job on his program and even had a speaking part. What a cutie!

Easter

For Easter this year the Easter bunny hid the kids easter baskets so they had to go on a hunt around the house gathering things for their baskets. The kids said it was the best Easter ever. Hopefully the Easter Bunny will have another great idea next year!

Aerospace Museum Field Trip

On Wednesday Ashton and I went on a field trip to the Hill Air Force Base Aerospace Museum. Ashton was in heaven with all the airplanes. They got to make paper airplanes and fly them, and do all sorts of fun things.

Las Vegas Trip

This past weekend we drove to Las Vegas for a soccer tournament for Tayden. We made it a "vacation" and saw some of the Vegas sites such as "the strip" and walked around some of the hotels, etc. The kids loved the M&M World and the lions at MGM. One of the pictures looks like the lion is going to bite Tayden's head off! We had a great time, but I wish the weather would have been warmer! In one of the pictures, the boys are enjoying an "ice bath" to help their muscles recover from the games. Their feet are in a tub full of ice water and they had to sit there for 20 minutes. (It was optional, but each one of them wanted to show how tough they were.)

Vegas Cup

Tayden's team did great at this National tournament. We went in thinking we wouldn't win a game, but ended up winning two out of our three games but it wasn't enough to make it to the playoffs. The kids were pretty upset about that, but they should be proud of how great they did.
